Exedra Corporate Finance has acted as an exclusive financial advisor to Grigeo Group AB (Nasdaq: GRG1L),  the largest paper and wood industry company group in Lithuania and one of the largest in the Baltic countries, on the acquisition (via subsidiary Grigeo Hygiene UAB) of 100% of the shares of Huchtemeier Papier GmbH.

Based in Dortmund, Germany, Huchtemeier Papier GmbH is a family-owned company with more than 125 years of tradition and partnerships in 18 countries. The company supplies hygiene paper and napkins to wholesalers and specialist retailers, as well as raw materials and semi-finished products to the tissue industry.

In 2024, Huchtemeier Papier GmbH achieved sales of EUR 92m and EBITDA of EUR 2.6m; 73% of revenues were generated in Germany, Austria and Poland.

By acquiring the Dortmund based company, Grigeo Group is strategically opening up the largest European market – Germany, as well as Austria, where Huchtemeier Papier has a uniquely strong position.
